We're looking for an experienced sourcing professional to help us identify and engage with manufacturing partners globally. The initial focus will be Asia and LatAm, but we're open to qualified suppliers worldwide. This is a project-based role with potential to extend month-to-month.

What you'll do:

●       Research and build a qualified pipeline of manufacturers that meet our criteria

●       Initiate outreach: request quotes, coordinate samples, and hand off vetted leads

●       Evaluate suppliers on capabilities, certifications, capacity, lead times, supply reliability, and commercial terms

●       Cultivate and manage supplier relationships through early-stage discussions

●       Work closely with our Head of Operations & Head of Product Development to align supplier options into a clear global sourcing view

●       Keep supplier data organized in a shared sheet/database with clear notes and status updates

What we're looking for:

●       Proven experience in sourcing, procurement, or contract manufacturing partnerships (consumer goods or related categories preferred)

●       Strong judgment in qualifying suppliers — able to filter beyond cost to reliability, quality, and compliance

●       Skilled communicator, comfortable leading supplier conversations and representing our company professionally

●       Familiarity with trade data tools, online directories, and other research methods to uncover and qualify manufacturers, particularly methods used to find those in latAm and Asia

●       Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple supplier discussions at once

Engagement details:

●       Approx. 20 hours per week to start, with flexibility to scale up or down based on project needs

●       Contract/project-based, with potential for month-to-month continuation

●       Remote, flexible hours, with occasional overlap for team calls

●       Must be able to flex across Asia, LatAm, and New York hours as needed for supplier calls (we'll do our best to keep this reasonable)
