Sourcing Supervisor - Procurement - BUYER

Purpose:

-To support the development and execution of new product introductions within the assigned category by coordinating activities that align with category objectives and gathering insights on emerging innovations. The role contributes to building effective supplier relationships to help drive sales growth, improve profitability, ensure supply continuity, and support supplier compliance.

SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Works closely with Sourcing Management teams to perform strategic sourcing activities
  • Evaluates suppliers and supply markets based on facts and data to provide deep and meaningful insight to Sourcing Management teams
  • Provides process and transaction support
  • Identifies potential vendors and obtain quotes as needed
  • Assists in gathering and analyzing industry, market, and spend data
  • Conducts accurate financial analysis of comparative bids
  • Works with Finance to calculate savings against budget and forecast
  • Interviews internal stakeholders to develop service level agreements
  • Collects data and prepares monthly sourcing reports
  • Prepares various contract documents for internal Ensure contracts are filed appropriately and tracked internally
  • Develops strong working relationships with team members and business partners to achieve desired outcomes for issues and objectives
  • EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's Degree of any Engineering course, Business Administration, Management or related field

At least2 years relevant experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, and or supply chain function

Advanced Microsoft Excel knowledge and proficiency with other Ms office products is required Professional level of oral/written communication skills, negotiation skills, credibility, reliability in dealing with suppliers

Desire to work in a fast-paced environment

Ability to take a proactive approach to overcome challenges and achieve results

Versatile, tenacious and people oriented Result oriented and confident

Proven appreciation of customer service expectations and cost demands of business

Strong commercial and financial acumen

Sets priorities taking into account short and long-term needs of the business
