Job Summary

The Warehouse and Logistics Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of warehouse activities, including inventory management, storage, distribution, and logistics coordination. The role ensures accurate and efficient handling of goods, timely deliveries, compliance with company policies, and effective supervision of warehouse staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate all warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, dispatch, and inventory control.
  • Plan and oversee logistics, transportation, and delivery schedules to ensure timely and cost-effective distribution.
  • Implement safety standards, housekeeping, and security protocols within the warehouse.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular cycle counts and audits.
  • Coordinate with procurement, production, and sales teams for order fulfillment.
  • Monitor performance of warehouse staff, provide training, and enforce discipline as necessary.
  • Ensure proper use and maintenance of warehouse equipment and vehicles.
  • Prepare reports on inventory, logistics efficiency, and operational issues for management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field.
  • At least 3–5 years of experience in warehouse/logistics operations, with supervisory experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory management, logistics systems, and supply chain best practices.
  • Proficient in MS Office; knowledge of ERP/WMS systems is an advantage.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
