Job Summary:

The Accounting Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the accounting department, including managing a team of accounting staff and ensuring the accurate and timely preparation of financial statements. They play a key role in maintaining financial controls, implementing best practices, and supporting the overall financial health of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Management:
  • Supervise and mentor a team of accounting staff, including assigning tasks, providing guidance, and conducting performance reviews.
  • Ensure team members adhere to accounting principles and company policies.
  • Financial Reporting:
  • Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
  • Analyze financial data and trends to provide insights and recommendations to management.
  • Coordinate with external auditors for the annual audit process.
  • Financial Operations:
  • Oversee the day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger functions.
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of financial transactions.
  • Monitor cash flow and financial performance against budget.
  • Internal Controls:
  • Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Conduct periodic reviews and audits to assess the effectiveness of internal controls.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting:
  • Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts.
  • Monitor budget variances and provide explanations for significant deviations.
  • Work with management to develop strategies for achieving financial goals.
  • Tax Compliance:
  • Ensure compliance with all tax requirements, including filing tax returns and making tax payments.
  • Stay updated on tax laws and regulations that may affect the organization.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
  • At least 2-5 years experience in accounting supervisory level
  • Driven Individual
  • Keen to details
  • Tech Savvy
  • Knowledgable in ODOO is a plus or any other accounting softwares
  • Knowledgable in ECommerce and retail setup is also a plus
  • Know how in process improvements, policy creations
  • Has a growth mindset and willing to help the company

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php30, Php45,000.00 per month
