We're looking for an experienced Lead Engineer to guide a talented team of developers in building the world's best ticketing platform. This role combines technical leadership, hands-on development, and team management in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. You will influence architecture, mentor engineers, ensure delivery quality, and help shape the future of our product and engineering culture.

Responsibilities

● Lead and Mentor: Provide technical direction, mentorship, and performance feedback to a team of engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.

● Architect and Build: Drive design and architectural decisions for scalable, high-performance web applications.

● Hands-On Development: Contribute to codebases using our modern stack — React, , MySQL, MongoDB, AWS — while ensuring best practices and coding standards.

● Project Ownership: Oversee the delivery of complex projects from planning through deployment, ensuring timelines and quality standards are met.

● Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Product, Design, and QA teams to translate business needs into technical solutions.

● Quality and Performance: Implement and enforce rigorous testing, CI/CD practices, and performance optimization strategies.

● Technology Strategy: Evaluate and introduce new tools and technologies that align with business and technical goals.

● Operational Excellence: Ensure smooth deployment pipelines, scalability planning, and high availability in production systems.

Qualifications

● Leadership Experience: 2+ years managing or leading engineering teams, with a track record of delivering high-quality software.

● Technical Expertise: 7+ years building large-scale, production-grade web applications.

● AWS Cloud: Proven experience designing and deploying cloud architectures on AWS.

● Database Skills: 2+ years hands-on experience with MySQL; familiarity with MongoDB.

● Front-End Mastery: Strong knowledge of modern JavaScript frameworks, especially React, and proficiency in browser debugging techniques.

● Product Thinking: Ability to balance technical excellence with business priorities.

● Communication: Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills, capable of influencing stakeholders and rallying teams.
