Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the preparation of purchase orders based on assigned materials.
  • Provide requisitioners up-to-date information on the status of open purchase orders.
  • Ensures tethical, fair and objective business and negotiating practices in order to have positive and effective relationshio with suppliers.
  • Follows all purchasing policies, systems and procedures.
  • Ensures continuous flow of supply of materials and on-time response to purchase request, ensure "no stock out of materials".
  • Negotiates prices with vendors for prime materials and other supplies as needed prior to its approval to help increase company's profitability.
  • Work with vendors to ensure product availability, delivery scheduling and to solve any pricing or other issues.
