About the role

We are seeking an experienced Purchasing Staff to join our team at Olympic Village Enterprises Inc. in Mandaluyong City. As a full-time employee, you will play a crucial role in managing the procurement and inventory processes to support the efficient operations of the company.

What you'll be doing

  1. Collaborate and identify purchasing requirements and source appropriate suppliers
  2. Negotiate with suppliers to secure the best pricing, delivery terms and quality for purchased goods and services
  3. Maintain accurate records of all purchasing activities, including purchase orders, invoices and inventory levels
  4. Oversee the receipt, inspection and storage of incoming goods to ensure they meet quality standards
  5. Identify opportunities to streamline purchasing processes and implement cost-saving measures
  6. Assist in the preparation of periodic procurement reports for management review

What we're looking for

  1. Bachelor or College degree, preferably in Industrial Engineering or an equivalent
  2. Relevant purchasing or procurement experience, at least 1-2 years
  3. Strong negotiation and vendor management skills to secure favorable terms
  4. Excellent organizational and record-keeping abilities to maintain accurate purchasing documentation
  5. Good problem-solving skills to identify and resolve supply chain issues
  6. Effective communication skills to collaborate with colleagues across the business
  7. Fast learner, analytical, meticulous in work/report and pro active individual.
  8. Respectful and capable of delivering fast-paced procurement/report requirements within the deadline
