General Accounting

  • Perform full-cycle accounting functions, including journal entries, general ledger maintenance, and monthly closings.
  • Maintain and reconcile balance sheet and income statement accounts.
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records in accordance with PFRS (Philippine Financial Reporting Standards).

Accounts Review & Disbursement

  • Review payment requests and validate supporting documents for accuracy and compliance with internal policies.
  • Ensure proper documentation and approval are in place before processing disbursements.
  • Monitor and maintain accurate records of accounts payable and expense reports.

Financial Reporting & Analysis

  • Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management review.
  • Analyze financial statements and key metrics to identify trends, variances, and improvement opportunities.
  • Assist in the development of management reports, KPIs, and financial dashboards.

Regulatory Compliance

  • Ensure full compliance with local government regulations and deadlines, including all BIR submissions (e.g., VAT, EWT, ITR, 2307).
  • Prepare and submit necessary documentation for BOI (Board of Investments) reporting, including PEZA/BOI incentives tracking and monitoring.
  • Maintain tax schedules and reconcile tax accounts regularly.

Budgeting & Forecasting

  • Assist the Finance Manager in the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, and financial planning.
  • Monitor actual results vs. budget and provide variance explanations and recommendations.
  • Support department heads with financial insights for decision-making.

Internal Controls & Process Improvement

  • Assist in implementing and improving accounting processes and internal control systems.
  • Participate in audit preparations and liaise with internal and external auditors as needed.
  • Ensure policies and procedures are consistently followed and documented.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Management Accounting, or equivalent
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is preferred but not required
  • Strong knowledge of the end-to-end accounting cycle and monthly/year-end closing processes
  • Expertise in general ledger management, financial reporting, and account reconciliation
  • Solid understanding of Philippine taxation and regulatory requirements (BIR, BOI, etc.)
  • Proficiency in accounting systems (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks, or equivalent) and MS Excel
  • Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to work independently
  • Prior experience in supporting global or multinational organizations is an advantage

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Php35, Php45,000.00 per month
