Our resort capitalizes on one of our location's greatest assets, the outstanding views of the pristine waters of the famous scuba diving hub of Puerto Galera.
Job Summary
The Front Desk Receptionist is responsible for providing exceptional guest service by handling check-ins, check-outs and guest inquiries efficiently and professionally. They serve as the first point of contact for guests and ensure a smooth and pleasant stay at Lalaguna Villas.
Responsibilities
- Welcome guests with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Handle check-ins and check-outs efficiently using the property management system.
- Provide guests with information about the resort's facilities, services, and local attractions.
- Address guest inquiries, requests, and complaints in a timely and professional manner.
- Assist in arranging transportation, tours, and other guest services as needed.
- Update guest records and ensure all necessary information is collected upon check-in.
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure room readiness.
- Maintain proper documentation, reports, and logs related to front office operations.
- Handle cash, credit card, and other payment transactions accurately.
- Liaise with other departments (Housekeeping, Maintenance, Security, Dive Shop, etc.) to ensure guest needs are met.
- Relay important messages and special requests to appropriate staff.
- Maintain a professional appearance and attitude at all times, representing the resort's brand and standards.
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and company policies.
- Ensure guest confidentiality and security measures are upheld.
- Other tasks may be assigned from time to time.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Tourism, or related field (preferred but not required).
- Previous experience in a hotel or resort front desk role is an advantage.
- Excellent communication skills in English; knowledge of other languages is a plus.
- Proficiency in computer applications, including Gsuite.
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a positive attitude.
- Willing to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays.
