About the role

Abenson Ventures, Inc. is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to join our growing team in Quezon City, Metro Manila. As Accounting Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial operations and ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting. This is a full-time role within our dynamic organisation.

What you'll be doing

  • Manage the day-to-day accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports
  • Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations
  • Analyse financial data, identify trends, and provide recommendations to management
  • Oversee the work of the accounting team and provide guidance and training as needed
  • Collaborate with other departments to support business objectives
  • Implement and maintain effective internal controls and accounting policies

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
  • 3 years of experience in a managerial accounting role, preferably in the Accounting industry
  • Proficient in the use of accounting software and data analysis tools
  • Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Thorough understanding of relevant accounting standards and regulations
  • Proven track record of leading and developing a high-performing accounting team
