About the role

As a Research and Development Specialist, you will play a crucial part in driving innovation and advancing the company's food technology and safety capabilities. In this full-time position based in Tarlac Central Luzon, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to develop and refine cutting-edge products and processes that meet the evolving needs of our customers.

What you'll be doing

  1. Conduct extensive research and testing to identify new product opportunities and enhance existing offerings
  2. Develop and optimize formulations, recipes, and manufacturing methods to improve product quality, safety, and efficiency
  3. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices to ensure compliance and maintain a competitive edge
  4. Collect and analyze data to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement
  5. Collaborate with marketing, operations, and other teams to translate research insights into viable commercial solutions
  6. Document and present findings to stakeholders, including senior leadership
  7. Mentor and support junior team members in their own research and development projects

What we're looking for

  1. Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related scientific discipline
  2. Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in research and development within the food industry ( Product Development , Food Manufacturing or commissary based kitchen operations )
  3. Proven track record of successfully developing and launching innovative food products or processes
  4. Knowledge of Food safety standards ( HACCP. GMP)
  5. Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills
  6. Proficiency in using laboratory equipment and data analysis tools
  7. Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  8. Passion for staying at the forefront of food technology and safety trends
