Job Summary

In charge of PEME Monitoring, Documentation and Crew Dispatching.

PEME MONITORING

  • Follows-up and checks medical examination results of the lined-up crew at the accredited medical clinics.
  • CREW TRAINING MONITORING**
  • Checks training certificates of recruited crew as per Ship Managers' requirement (Matrix).
  • Issue referral forms / endorsement letter to crew for training centers upon instruction of the operations manager.
  • Monitor and ensure completion of crew training/s prior dispatch.

DOCUMENTATION

  • Verifies and Confirms the validity and authenticity of submitted / presented documents of the crew.
  • Prepares Seafarers Employment Agreement (SEA) and endorse it to the Liaison Officer for processing.
  • Update requirements of various embassies – for VISA processing.
  • Prepare contract extension for onboard crew.
  • Prepare other papers needed by line-up / departing crew.

CREW DISPATCHING

  • Prepares departing crew documentation required to be handed to the Master on-board.
  • Arranges dispatch of documents of joining crew to the Ship Managers.
  • Prepares airport requirements like letter to airlines and guarantee letter for departing crew.
  • Ensure that all submitted documents of a joining crew are in place.
  • Prepares request for working gears of embarking crew.
  • Ensure Crew has been properly briefed (thru briefing form) prior final dispatch.
  • Request travel allowance for crew dispatch.
  • In absence of co-crew operator, assume the responsibility of dispatching the seafarers assigned to the absent co-crew operator.
  • Assist Senior Crew Operator (when fleet operator is on vacation) in answering e-mails from principal.
  • Perform other related tasks as may be assigned by the Crew Operations Manager.

Required Education, Skills, and Qualifications

  • College graduate. (Any Course)
  • With at least one (1) year experience as Crew Operator/Ship Officer.
  • Excellent command of the English language.
  • High sense of responsibility and self-motivation.
  • Willingness to continuously update and develop professional knowledge.
  • Commitment to work irregular hours and willingness to travel.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Good organizational skills.
