JOB SUMMARY:

The Kitchen Staff (cold kitchen section) is responsible for preparing and assembling cold dishes such as salads, sandwiches, and beverages, including coffee and tea. The role ensures high standards of food quality, hygiene, and safety while maintaining efficient kitchen operations.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Food Preparation & Quality Control

  • Prepare and assemble sandwiches, salads, and other cold dishes following standardized recipes and presentation guidelines.
  • Brew and serve coffee, tea, and other beverages according to company standards.
  • Ensure all prepared items meet quality and portioning standards before service.
  • Maintain proper food storage techniques to ensure freshness and compliance with food safety standards.

2. Inventory Management & FIFO System

  • Implement and follow the First In, First Out (FIFO) system to ensure ingredients are used in proper rotation, minimizing spoilage.
  • Conduct regular inventory checks and report shortages or expired items.
  • Assist in receiving and organizing kitchen supplies, ensuring proper storage conditions.

3. Hygiene & Safety Compliance

  • Follow proper sanitation practices, including maintaining cleanliness in food preparation and storage areas.
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations set by the company.
  • Ensure the proper use and maintenance of kitchen tools and equipment.

4. Operational Efficiency

  • Work collaboratively with kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient food preparation.
  • Assist in setting up and maintaining the cold kitchen workstation for smooth operations.
  • Communicate effectively with other team members regarding inventory needs and kitchen operations.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: At least a high school diploma or vocational course in culinary arts, food service, or a related field.

Experience: With at least 2 years of experience in a cold kitchen or food service industry.

Skills:

  • Knowledge of cold food preparation, salad, and sandwich-making techniques as well as Tea and Coffee preparation.
  • knowledgeable in food safety and hygiene practices.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Barista certification is a plus.

NOTE: Successful candidates will be assigned to our 2nd branch in GREENHILLS, SAN JUAN CITY.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Php19, Php20,000.00 per month
