JOB SUMMARY:

The Kitchen Staff (Hot Kitchen Section) is responsible for preparing and cooking grilled sandwiches, hot breakfast items, and hot beverages such as coffee and tea. The role involves ensuring food quality, maintaining cleanliness, following proper food handling procedures, and adhering to the First In, First Out (FIFO) system for inventory management. The position requires efficiency, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment while complying with health and safety regulations.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Food Preparation & Cooking

  • Prepare and cook grilled sandwiches, hot breakfast items, and beverages according to standard recipes and quality standards.
  • Ensure consistency in food presentation, portioning, and taste.
  • Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Follow proper food handling and storage procedures to maintain food safety.

2. Beverage Preparation

  • Brew and serve hot coffee, tea, and other hot beverages following standard recipes.
  • Maintain the quality and taste of beverages served.
  • Ensure proper calibration of coffee machines and other beverage equipment.

3. Inventory & FIFO System Management

  • Implement the First In, First Out (FIFO) system to ensure proper stock rotation and minimize waste.
  • Monitor ingredient levels and report low stock to the Store Manager.
  • Assist in receiving, labeling, and storing food supplies properly.

4. Kitchen Cleanliness & Hygiene

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, including workstations, cooking utensils, and storage areas.
  • Follow health and sanitation standards set by the company and regulatory authorities.
  • Properly dispose of kitchen waste and ensure a clean working environment.

5. Compliance & Safety

  • Follow food safety and hygiene protocols to prevent contamination and ensure food quality.
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations set by the company.
  • Ensure the proper use and maintenance of kitchen tools and equipment.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: At least a high school diploma or vocational course in culinary arts, food service, or a related field.

Experience: With at least 2 years of experience in a hot kitchen or food service industry.

Skills:

  • Basic cooking skills, especially in grilling and baking.
  • knowledgeable in food safety and hygiene practices.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.

NOTE: Successful candidates will be assigned to our 2nd branch in GREENHILLS, SAN JUAN CITY.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Php19, Php20,000.00 per month
