Tax Specialist / Tax Accountant

Location: 7F Two World Square, McKinley Hill, Fort Bonifacio, Taguig City

Work Setup: Hybrid (3x onsite, 2x WFH) – Onsite for the first 1–2 months

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Tax Specialist to join our growing finance team. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring compliance with both national and local tax regulations, supporting audits, and contributing to efficient tax accounting processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Calculate and record national and local taxes.
  • Prepare accurate and timely tax returns with supporting documentation.
  • Collaborate with reviewers, approvers, and other departments to streamline tax processes.
  • Coordinate with auditors by providing schedules and documentation for audit completion.
  • Maintain client-focused relationships with professionalism and integrity.
  • Monitor and address team inquiries or tickets related to taxation.
  • Uphold the highest standards of ethics and compliance in all transactions.

Qualifications

Must-Haves:

  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
  • At least 2 years of work experience in taxation
  • Background in auditing firms

Nice-to-Haves:

  • 2+ years of experience in local government taxation
  • Hands-on experience with SAP FICO modules
