Tax Specialist

Location: 7F Two World Square, McKinley Hill, Fort Bonifacio, Taguig City

Work Setup: Hybrid (3x onsite, 2x WFH) – Note: First 1–2 months will be purely onsite

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Employment Type: Full-time

About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented Tax Specialist to join our team. This role will be responsible for handling tax compliance, preparation of tax returns, audit coordination, and ensuring efficient tax processes within the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Calculate and record both national and local taxes.
  • Prepare tax returns and required supporting documents.
  • Collaborate with reviewers, approvers, and other departments for smooth tax processes.
  • Coordinate with auditors by providing necessary schedules and documentation.
  • Maintain a customer-focused approach to foster strong working relationships.
  • Monitor and address inquiries or tickets raised by the team.
  • Uphold the highest standards of ethics and integrity in all interactions.

Qualifications

Must-Haves:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related field.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 2 years of work experience in tax.
  • Prior experience in auditing firms.

Nice-to-Have:

  • At least 2 years of experience in local government taxation.
  • Hands-on experience in SAP FICO modules.
