TAX SPECIALIST

Work Address: Taguig City

Work Set-up: Hybrid - 3x onsite, 2x WFH (purely onsite for the first 1-2 months)

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday (8AM - 5PM)

DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Calculates and records both national and local taxes.
  • Prepares tax returns, including all necessary supporting documentation.
  • Collaborates with reviewers, approvers, and other departments to ensure smooth and efficient tax accounting processes.
  • Coordinates with auditors to provide the required schedules or supporting documents for completing the audit.
  • Maintains a customer-focused approach to foster strong working relationships with clients.
  • Monitors and addresses inquiries or tickets raised by the team.
  • Adheres to the highest standards of ethics and integrity in all internal and external interactions and relationships.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Must Haves:

  • Must be a college graduate with a degree in Accountancy, Finance or any related course
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2 years work experience in tax
  • Has experience in auditing firms

Nice to Have:

  • 2 years experience in local government taxation
  • 2 years hands-on experience in SAP FICO modules

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php40, Php42,000.00 per month
