Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and monitor production activities to ensure daily targets are met. Coordinate with planning and maintenance teams for smooth operations. Ensure proper line setup and adherence to production schedules.
  • Assign operators and workers to designated machines or workstations. Oversee attendance, performance, and discipline of production personnel. Conduct daily shift briefings and report manpower issues to management.
  • Ensure adherence to quality standards and work instructions. Coordinate with Quality Control to resolve product issues. Monitor rejection rates and initiate corrective actions.
  • Ensure machines and tools are properly maintained and operated. Monitor material usage to minimize wastage and variances. Report machine breakdowns promptly for corrective maintenance.
  • Conduct meetings and report unsafe practices. Ensure 5S (Sort, set in order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain) is implemented in the work area.
  • Prepare daily production reports and downtime logs. Monitor OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) and line efficiency. Support investigations and improvement projects.
  • Identify and recommend process improvements. Support implementation of lean manufacturing initiatives.
  • Responsible to ensures that manpower, machines, and materials are utilized effectively to meet production schedules while maintaining compliance with company policies and standards.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineer, Mechanical, Electrical, or Manufacturing Engineering (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 2-3 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing or plastic molding environment.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Knowledge of production planning, line balancing, quality control, and safety procedures.
