Plant Manager

About the role

The Plant Manager is responsible for overseeing all daily operations of the manufacturing facility to ensure efficiency, productivity, safety, and compliance with company standards. This role leads production teams, manages resources, optimizes processes, and drives continuous improvement to meet organizational goals.

What you'll be doing

• Oversee all plant operations, including production planning, scheduling, and workflow.
• Ensure production targets, quality standards, and deadlines are consistently met.

• Monitor equipment performance and coordinate maintenance to minimize downtime.

• Lead, train, and develop supervisors and production staff.

• Foster a positive and productive work environment.

• Conduct performance evaluations and address staffing needs.

• Ensure adherence to quality standards and regulatory requirements.

• Implement and enforce safety policies, procedures, and protocols.

• Conduct inspections, audits, and risk assessments.

• Analyze production processes and implement cost-saving and efficiency improvements.

• Introduce best practices and lean manufacturing techniques.

• Manage projects that enhance plant performance and capacity.

• Oversee raw material and finished goods inventory levels.

• Coordinate with procurement to ensure timely supply.

• Manage budgets, control costs, and monitor operational expenditures.

• Prepare and present production, safety, and performance reports.

• Collaborate with other departments such as logistics, quality, HR, and sales.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Management, or related field (preferred).

• Experience in manufacturing hygienic, FMCG, or similar products.

• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing or plant operations.

• Prior supervisory or managerial experience required.
• Strong leadership and decision-making skills.
• Excellent knowledge of production processes and plant operations.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Solid understanding of safety regulations and quality systems.
