Halal Quality Assurance Analyst

Responsibilities: • Conduct chemical and sensory evaluations of food products. • Apply uniform methods consistently for accurate, reproducible results. • Perform real-time stability testing to assess physicochemical and organoleptic properties for shelf-life evaluation. • Facilitate third-party calibration and maintenance of lab equipment. • Calibrate weighing scales, thermometers, and pH meters. • Monitor inventories of QA supplies, laboratory equipment, glassware, media, and chemicals. • Analyze retained samples as needed. • Use appropriate PPEs and ensure safe handling and storage of reagents and chemicals. • Ensure that assigned areas are kept clean and orderly at all times. • Ensure proper maintenance, cleanliness, and safekeeping of any equipment, tools, and utensils assigned to him. • Train QA and Production staff on basic laboratory analysis. • Repeats test or analysis in cases of uncertainties and discrepancy. • Ensure that laboratory analyses are conducted based on the established frequency set in the Laboratory Test Schedule. • Ensures analyses and tests are done within the specified cycle time. • Establish systems for monitoring use of laboratory equipment and accountability for breakage/damaged facilities. • Prepares weekly highlight report of activities or other reports that may be required by Supervisor. Qualifications: • Must be a member of the Muslim community. • Bachelor’s degree in Food Technology, Food Science, Chemistry, Microbiology or any related field. • At least 1 year of experience in Food Manufacturing with direct involvement in quality assurance activities and/or research projects. • Working knowledge and experience in quality control and assurance covering sampling, inspection, analysis, and total quality management. • Knowledgeable in GMP, HACCP, HALAL, and Food Sensory. • Must be able to maintain stable performance despite pressure and willingness to work. • Preferably have these traits: Planning & Organizing, Resourcefulness, Attention to details, Problem Analysis, Judgment and Decision Making, Dependability, Impact, Professional and Interpersonal Relationship, Sensitivity, Oral & written communication skills. Location: Plaridel, Bulacan Work Schedule/Set-up: • Monday – Saturday / Day shift • Office and plant-based role with regular coordination across departments.
