Company Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Team Leader to oversee a team of sales agents in our fast-paced contact center. You will be responsible for driving team performance, coaching team members, and ensuring that sales targets and KPIs are consistently met or exceeded. The ideal candidate has strong leadership skills, a customer-focused mindset, and a proven track record in sales within a call center or contact center environment.
Job Description
- Lead, motivate, and manage a team of sales agents to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets.
- Monitor performance metrics (KPIs), including call volumes, conversion rates, quality assurance scores, and customer satisfaction.
- Provide ongoing coaching, mentoring, and performance feedback to team members.
- Conduct regular team meetings, one-on-one reviews, and performance evaluations.
- Handle escalated customer issues and resolve them promptly and professionally.
- Analyze sales data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
- Work closely with other departments to ensure alignment on sales goals and campaign execution.
- Support new hire training and onboarding processes.
- Prepare reports and present team performance to senior management.

Grade 12
Additional Information
- Proven experience in a sales role within a contact center or call center environment.
- At least 1–2 years of experience in a supervisory or team leadership role within sales.
- Strong understanding of sales techniques, customer service, and CRM systems.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and motivational skills.
- Ability to analyze data and make strategic decisions to improve performance.
- High level of organization and time management.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple priorities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and call center software/tools.
