Main Job Purpose:

This role is to manage the end-to-end delivery of capital engineering projects. May be dedicated to deliver a single project of significant size or a portfolio of smaller projects. Responsible for all aspects of the day-to-day management of projects including stakeholder engagement, contractor management, site safety, budget management.

Key Accountabilities:

• On Time In Full (OTIF) end to end delivery of assigned capital projects adhering to Unilever standards and ensuring safety as number 1 priority, following UMS EEM Methodology

• Lead engineering project teams drawing resources from the local, regional and global organization as well as Unilever Engineering Cluster, Centre of Engineering Excellence and 3rd Party Teams

• Leads all Risk Assessment (TRA, HACCP and HAZOP) related to assigned project, including Pre-trial checklist/ Documentation with corresponding e-MOC completion prior to trials

• Lead Governance to ensure delivery of project KPI's

• Business Partner with Factory Director for development of the capex program and program management

• Development and maintenance of good stakeholder relationships

Experience Required:

ESSENTIAL

• 10 Years experience of Project Engineering in FMCG / related Industry or gained in an engineering consultancy environment

• 5 years operating in a management capacity

• Significant Project Management experience

• Good to have attained Professional Engineer Status (Or member of professional institution)

• Firsthand experience / track record of delivering major (Multi Million) capital projects within Unilever or similar FMCG environment

PREFERRED

• FMCG experience

• Unilever Exposure

• Manufacturing background is required
