About the role

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Assistant to join our team at Venice 66 Fashions Inc. based in San Pedro City, Laguna. This is a full-time position where you will play a key role in supporting our Accounting department. As Accounting Assistant, you will be responsible for a variety of essential financial tasks that contribute to the overall success of the organisation.

What you'll be doing

  • Prepare and process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely and accurate payments and collections
  • Reconcile bank statements and maintain detailed records of all financial transactions
  • Assist with the preparation of monthly financial reports and statements
  • Provide administrative support to the Accounting team, including filing, data entry and responding to queries
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure financial processes are efficient and compliant
  • Undertake ad-hoc projects and tasks as required

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 2 years' experience as an Accounting Assistant or similar role
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices and procedures
  • Proficient in using accounting software and Microsoft Office applications
  • Excellent attention to detail and numeracy skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Relevant accounting qualifications or certifications would be highly regarded
