About the Role

We're seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Online Fitness Coach to join our remote team as a Virtual Assistant. In this role, you'll support clients in achieving their fitness and wellness goals through personalized guidance in exercise, nutrition, and healthy lifestyle habits, while also assisting our senior coaches in program delivery, accountability tracking, and client communication.

You'll be part of a fully virtual coaching environment where teamwork, communication, and organization are key to delivering outstanding client results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Client Coaching & Support
  • Guide clients through customized workout and nutrition plans based on their goals and experience.
  • Educate clients on exercise form, progression, and recovery best practices.
  • Conduct virtual check-ins (via chat, video, or email) to assess progress and make adjustments.
  • Motivate clients to stay accountable and consistent with their plans.
  • Administrative & Assistant Tasks
  • Assist head coaches in scheduling, client onboarding, and follow-ups.
  • Manage client data and progress logs in fitness platforms or spreadsheets.
  • Prepare weekly reports and summaries for the coaching team.
  • Respond to client inquiries promptly and professionally through messaging platforms or email.
  • Team Collaboration
  • Work alongside other coaches to refine fitness programs and improve client experience.
  • Provide administrative and coordination support for online challenges, check-ins, and coaching groups.
  • Suggest process improvements to streamline virtual coaching operations.

Qualifications

  • Background in fitness, nutrition, exercise science, or related field (preferred).
  • Certification such as NASM, ACE, ISSA, or Precision Nutrition is a plus.
  • Prior experience as a Virtual Assistant or in online coaching support strongly preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with tools such as Google Workspace, Trainerize, MyFitnessPal, or other coaching software.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable managing tasks in a fully remote setting.
