About the role

As a Safety Officer III with PHIL. RIGID CONSTRUCTION CORPORATION, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health, safety and wellbeing of our construction site personnel. Working in a full-time position based in Tayud Consolacion Cebu, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining robust safety procedures across our construction projects.

What you'll be doing

  • Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential hazards on construction sites
  • Develop, implement and monitor safety policies, procedures and training programs to promote a strong safety culture
  • Provide safety orientations and on-site training to construction workers to enhance their understanding of safety protocols
  • Investigate incidents and accidents, identify root causes and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 1 year of experience as a Safety Officer or in a similar role within the construction industry
  • Thorough understanding of occupational health and safety regulations, including the latest safety standards and best practices
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and address safety risks
