About the role

As a Safety Officer III at Phil. Rigid Construction Corporation, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the health, safety and environmental well-being of our construction projects in Tayud Consolacion Cebu. This full-time position is responsible for implementing and maintaining robust safety protocols to protect our employees, contractors and the local community.

What you'll be doing

  1. Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential hazards
  2. Develop, implement and monitor safety policies, procedures and training programs
  3. Investigate and document all incidents, accidents and near-misses, and recommend corrective actions
  4. Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety and environmental regulations and standards

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum 1 year of experience as a Safety Officer in the construction industry
  2. Certification in Occupational Health and Safety (e.g. NEBOSH, IOSH)
  3. Thorough understanding of construction safety regulations and best practices
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with all stakeholders
