About the role

MAGSI Builders Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project In-charge / Quantity Surveyor to join our team in Paco Manila City, Metro Manila. As a key member of our fast-paced civil/structural engineering department, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and coordinating the successful delivery of our construction projects. This is a full-time position based on-site.

What you'll be doing

  1. Manage and oversee all day-to-day aspects of assigned construction projects from start to finish
  2. Develop and implement detailed project plans, budgets, and schedules to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery
  3. Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to coordinate activities and resolve issues
  4. Conduct regular site inspections and progress meetings to monitor project performance
  5. Prepare and analyze quantity surveys, cost estimates, and other project documentation
  6. Identify and mitigate potential risks and challenges, proposing solutions to keep projects on track
  7. Provide regular project updates and reports to the management
  8. Mentor and support junior project team members to develop their skills and capabilities

What we're looking for

  1. Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or a related field
  2. Minimum 3 years of proven experience as a Project In-charge or Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry
  3. Excellent project management, communication, and problem-solving skills
  4. Strong technical knowledge of construction methods, materials, and industry standards
  5. Proficient in the use of project management software and tools
  6. Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  7. Familiarity with local building codes and regulations
  8. Strong leadership and team-building skills
