A multi-location behavioral health and addiction treatment organization operating a growing network of treatment centers across the U.S. Patients often discover these centers through third-party directories such as Google, Bing, SAMHSA, Yelp, BBB, and industry-specific listing platforms. These directories are a major acquisition channel that directly influences patient admissions.

The marketing team operates in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment. While paid media and reporting are well-managed, external directories currently lack a dedicated owner—resulting in outdated profiles, gaps in consistency, and missed admissions opportunities. This role will take full ownership of this high-impact channel.

Role Overview

The Directories Coordinator will serve as the single point of ownership for all external directory listings across platforms and treatment center locations. You will ensure every listing is accurate, complete, compliant, and optimized—directly supporting the organization's goal of increasing patient admissions.

This role is ideal for a highly organized, systems-driven coordinator who thrives in structure, process, and managing many moving parts simultaneously.

Core Responsibilities
Directory Ownership & Updates
  • Fully own and update profiles across major directories (Google Business, Bing, SAMHSA, Yelp, BBB, and treatment-specific portals)
  • Ensure all listings are complete, accurate, and consistent (images, descriptions, hours, contacts, compliance details)
  • Launch new listings as new locations open
Organization & Systems Management
  • Restructure the existing multi-tab directory spreadsheet into a clean master source of truth
  • Maintain accurate records of logins, vendor contacts, ticket statuses, and updates
  • Track work independently with minimal follow-up required
Vendor & Directory Management
  • Serve as the point of contact for paid directory vendors
  • Submit required recurring data and escalate issues when needed
  • Monitor responsiveness and ensure resolutions for update blocks or listing problems
Review Support & Performance Tracking
  • Support review collection strategies within platform guidelines
  • Follow up with center teams to improve review activity
  • Track responsiveness and escalate delays
Expansion & Opportunity Scouting
  • Audit new directories to identify relevance and potential ranking value
  • Document requirements, potential costs, and visibility mechanics
  • Recommend strategic opportunities for directory investments
Requirements
