Position: Project Office Fit Out Manager

Employment Type: Fixed Term (2-4 months; with possible extension)

Location: Rockwell Business Center, Ortigas, Pasig City

Work Set-Up: On-Site (but the client can also consider Hybrid Arrangement (2-3 days) — depending on the candidate's availability)

Work Schedule: Dayshift (Regular Manila Office Hours)

Position Summary:

This position will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end delivery of a new office fit-out project in Manila. This role is an individual contributor that requires strong leadership skills — managing contractors on-site, ensuring quality execution, and coordinating closely with the UK-based project team. The position requires solid experience in commercial or office fit-out projects and the ability to drive progress while maintaining quality, cost, and timelines.

Duties and Responsibilities:

· Directly manage and oversee day-to-day activities of fit-out contractors to ensure timely, safe, and quality project execution.

· Review and assess bids, quotations, material selections, and contractor proposals to ensure best value and alignment with project standards.

· Support the design development process and ensure all design elements align with corporate requirements and functional needs.

Lead coordination between contractors, suppliers, and internal teams (UK and Manila-based) to ensure seamless project delivery.

· Conduct regular site inspections to validate workmanship, quality, materials, and adherence to specifications.

· Monitor project schedule, progress, risks, and budget, and provide regular updates to the UK Project Lead and Senior Country Lead.

· Ensure compliance with local building codes, permits, health & safety requirements, and organizational standards.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Engineering or any other related field.

· At least 8 years+ of experience in office fit-out, commercial interiors and construction project management.

· Proven experience managing contractors directly and leading fit-out projects from design to handover. It will be essential that you are confident and authoritative in managing contractors on site; able to project presence, command respect, and maintain control of quality and timelines.

· Strong understanding of design development, construction sequencing, procurement, and commercial evaluation.

· Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including coordination with international teams.

· Highly organized, with strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

· Knowledge of local building codes, permitting processes, safety requirements, and standard construction practices.

· Knowledge of ISO compliance, especially ISO 27001, 9001, 14001, 45001.
