Remote SEO Manager (Philippines-Based)

We're a fast-growing performance marketing and web design agency based in Canada, specializing in helping local and global businesses dominate search rankings and drive real, measurable growth. Our team thrives on results, creativity, and collaboration — and now we're looking to bring on an experienced SEO Manager based in the Philippines to lead strategy, execution, and performance tracking across client accounts.

Role Overview

We're looking for an SEO Manager who lives and breathes search. You'll take ownership of SEO strategies for multiple clients, working closely with our content, dev, and PPC teams to implement both on-page and off-page strategies that move the needle.

This is not a junior role — we need someone who's been in the trenches, understands the algorithm shifts, and knows how to build organic traffic from scratch.

What You'll Do

Strategy & Planning

• Develop and manage end-to-end SEO strategies for local and national campaigns
• Conduct competitive analysis, keyword research, and SERP opportunity mapping
• Build customized SEO roadmaps for each client (local, eCommerce, or service-based)

On-Page SEO

• Perform detailed site audits using tools like Ahrefs, Semrush, Screaming Frog
• Optimize website content, titles, meta descriptions, schema, and internal linking
• Identify and fix technical SEO issues (crawlability, indexation, speed, etc.)

Off-Page SEO & Link Building

• Plan and manage white-hat link building campaigns
• Source guest post opportunities and manage outreach
• Monitor backlink health and disavow toxic links as needed

Reporting & Communication

• Track keyword rankings, traffic, CTRs, and conversions using Google Analytics and Search Console
• Create detailed monthly reports and provide strategic insights for clients
• Collaborate with our team via Slack, Notion, and Zoom — excellent English and communication skills are a must

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in SEO (agency or in-house)
• Proven success ranking local and/or international websites
• Advanced knowledge of on-page and technical SEO
• Strong experience with tools: Ahrefs, Semrush, Screaming Frog, GA4, GSC
• Experience in managing multiple SEO projects or clients at once
• Familiarity with WordPress, Shopify, and basic HTML/CSS
• Excellent English communication (spoken and written)
• Highly organized and self-managed — you'll be expected to run your own show

Bonus Points (Not Required)

• Experience with content briefs and AI-assisted workflows
• Worked with North American or Australian clients
• Experience in lead gen, local SEO, or high-ticket service businesses
• Familiarity with PPC and paid search strategy
