Escalations & Support Specialist – Billing & Collections (AR/O2C)

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and resolve billing, collections, and payment-related escalations in a timely and accurate manner
  • Investigate discrepancies, perform basic root-cause analysis, and recommend preventive solutions
  • Support customers and internal partners by providing clear, comprehensive explanations on account issues
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams (Billing, AR, Collections, Cash App, Master Data) to close out complex cases
  • Monitor, track, and update case progress to ensure timely follow-through and closure
  • Maintain accurate documentation and ensure process guidelines are updated and followed
  • Identify opportunities to improve the customer experience and streamline AR/O2C processes
  • Escalate critical, recurring, or high-impact issues to the team lead or manager for faster resolution

Qualifications

  • At least 1–2 years of experience in Accounts Receivable, Billing, Collections, Cash Application, or related O2C processes
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or any related field
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, especially in resolving billing or payment discrepancies
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain financial issues clearly
  • Experience handling customer or stakeholder inquiries in a shared services or BPO environment is an advantage
  • Working knowledge of accounting systems such as SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong customer-service mindset and ability to remain calm and professional during escalations

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Php40, Php50,000.00 per month
