Role: Full Charge Bookkeeper

Work Arrangement: Work from Home

Location: Any CS PH Branch - Makati/Ortigas/Pampanga/Tarlac/Cebu/Davao

Schedule: Night Shift

Job description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Full Charge Bookkeeper with a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience to work in a bookkeeping firm. The ideal candidate is detail oriented, proactive, communicative, and confident managing full financial cycles. You will play a key role in handling daily accounting operations and supporting leadership with accurate financial data for multiple customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage full cycle Accounts Payable, including vendor setup- including W9 collection, bill processing, and payments

• Manage full cycle Accounts Receivable, including invoicing, customer payments, and collections

• Prepare and process payroll accurately and on schedule

• Handle multi-state sales tax filings, particularly with strong knowledge of California requirements

• Reconcile bank and credit card accounts

• Reconcile other balance sheet accounts as needed

• Input monthly depreciation and adjustments as needed

• Maintain the general ledger and ensure timely month-end and year-end closes

• Generate standard financial reports for Manager review

• Work closely with leadership to ensure accurate and compliant financial practices

• Support audits and respond to inquiries from external accountants when needed

• Maintain organized documentation and accounting records

• Maintain communication with other staff and managers throughout the organization

• Maintain communication with customer contacts

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a full charge bookkeeping role

• Strong knowledge of full cycle A/P, A/R, and payroll functions

• Experience with sales tax compliance, particularly in California

• Proficiency in QuickBooks Online, ClickUp, and Slack

• Strong understanding of GAAP and internal controls

• Excellent attention to detail, time management, and communication skills

Non-negotiable skills & requirements:

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience using Xero and Gusto

• Exposure to industries such as:

• Design and marketing services
• Restaurants
• Manufacturing environments including CNC, tooling, or machining shops
  
  • Experience with multi-entity bookkeeping
  
  • Ability to support process improvements and system efficiencies
