Job Overview:

The IT Asset Management Specialist is responsible for the effective tracking, monitoring, and lifecycle management of all IT hardware and software assets within the organization. This role ensures accurate inventory records, compliance with licensing requirements, and supports operational efficiency through proper asset planning and utilization. The candidate must be willing to work onsite in Taguig.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and update IT asset inventory for hardware and software throughout their lifecycle (procurement, deployment, maintenance, retirement).
  • Monitor asset movement, assignments, and returns to ensure accurate tracking and accountability.
  • Perform regular audits and reconciliation of asset records with physical inventory.
  • Assist in purchasing and vendor coordination for IT equipment and licenses.
  • Support IT team in asset deployment, configuration, and tagging activities.
  • Ensure compliance with software licensing, renewal schedules, and usage policies.
  • Generate reports related to asset utilization, aging, warranty status, and budget forecasts.
  • Coordinate with various departments to manage asset requests, returns, and replacements.
  • Support IT asset management process improvements and documentation.
  • Respond to inquiries and provide assistance regarding asset-related issues or discrepancies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or related field.
  • At least 1 year of experience in IT Asset Management or IT administration.
  • Knowledge of IT hardware, software licensing, and inventory management processes.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in MS Excel and asset management tools or systems.
  • Good communication and coordination skills.
  • Must be amenable to report onsite in Taguig.

Preferred Skills (Optional):

  • Experience in ITIL processes or IT service management.
  • Familiarity with asset management software or ERP systems.
  • Basic understanding of procurement processes and vendor management.

Job Type: Fixed term

Contract length: 12 months

Pay: Php20, Php22,000.00 per month
