JOB SUMMARY: A Cashier is responsible for processing cash, debit, credit and check transactions using a cash register or other point-of-sale. Their duties include balancing the cash register, making change, recording purchases, processing returns and scanning items for sale.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Issue OR for cash and check collections from patients, Philhealth, PCSO, HMO, LGUS, Credit cards, etc.

  2. Prepare daily transmittal report for cash/check collection and professional fees.

  3. Release checks for doctor's professional fees and payments to suppliers.

  4. Tag in the Bizbox the release of checks to doctors and suppliers.

  5. Perform the tasks of the Billing Clerk during night duty or when she is absent.

  6. Prepare Cash Advance/Petty Cash form and process cash advance.

  7. Issue/release BIR Form 2307 to doctors.

  8. Facilitate approval by HMO of covered patients during night duty.

  9. Post daily cash and check collections in the Receipts Journal.

  10. Attend to patients' concerns and answer queries regarding billings and payments.
