Job Summary:

This job supports Management planning and decision making by identifying, maintaining, and evaluating information; recommending actions. This job also prepares monthly, quarterly and annual management report that compares actual results to forecasts, this job assists with the monthly accounting close, making certain journal entries are prepared

correctly and on time.

Job Role and Responsibilities:

  • Prepare monthly financial performance reports for management information.
  • Initiate clean-up of accounting records.
  • Supervise staff in conducting period end closing activities.
  • Post journal entries other than A/P transactions.
  • Collate relevant financial data for decision-making including recommended actions if needed.
  • Prepare and/or review internal and external reports e.g. BOI reports, financial statements, tax reports, reported needed for company and Legal etc.
  • Recommend policies and process improvements to Factory Accounting Manager.
  • Assist the Factory Controller Assistant Manager to liaise with Treasury Team for funding of property acquisitions and construction projects.
  • Perform timely maintenance of completed factory CAPEX in the Plant Register project to plant register
  • Support the Factory Controller Assistant Manager in the post CAPEX evaluation project commissioning and installation
  • Define financial situation by completing quantitative and qualitative analyses.
  • Protect operations by keeping information confidential.
  • Evaluate optional plans by identifying outcomes and potential returns.
  • Recommend financial actions by assessing options in relation to organization goals.
  • Support the Factory Controller in the validation, review and consolidation of factory cost reduction initiatives prior to Head Office reporting.
  • Support the Factory Controller in providing understanding and training on financial impact on issues and variances to Factory staff
  • Assist the Facility Accounting Manager in the group audit facility
  • Support the Facility Accounting Manager in providing a timely and accurate financial planning related reports and analyses

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3-year experience in General Accounting, Financial reporting in a Facility/Property Management Company
  • Experience within a network organization (internal and external providers)
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
  • Must have exposure in Computerized Accounting Systems
  • Knowledge of Microsoft office e.g. Excel, Word

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From Php35,000.00 per month
