About the Accounting Specialist role

The ideal candidate should be able to own the entire accounting process from documenting sales and purchases to preparing financial statements. We are looking for a candidate who is organized, enthusiastic, and proactive.

An Accounting Specialist's duties & responsibilities are as follows but not limited to:

  • Monitoring and managing all accounting entries and generation of accounting reports monthly, quarterly, and annually.
  • Ensures data entries are accurate and up-to-date
  • Constantly learning industry trends and current rates to determine next steps and strategies
  • Ensuring compliance of applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards
  • Finding ways of improving processes and workflows
  • Ad hoc tasks as assigned by the CEO based on the different demands faced by the company.

Job Qualifications

  • At least three (2) years of relevant experience in the field of accounting unless the candidate has exhibited remarkable results academically or professionally. In such cases, relevant experience can be less than (2) years, commensurate with achievements
  • Must have comprehensive, actionable, and immediately relevant technical knowledge in the field of accounting such as relevant laws and other terms pertinent to the field
  • Must have graduated with a Bachelor's Degree, having an Accounting degree is an advantage
  • Must have working knowledge in QuickBooks
  • CPA is a huge advantage

  • This position requires the employee to report in our office in Quezon City, Metro Manila City from Monday to Friday from 08:00 AM to 6:00PM
