About the role

EEI Corporation is seeking an experienced Planning Engineer to join our team in Valenzuela City, Metro Manila. As a Planning Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the efficient coordination and scheduling of our construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget. What you'll be doing

  1. Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules using industry-standard planning software
  2. Monitor and update project plans to reflect changes in scope, resources, or timeline
  3. Collaborate with project managers, site supervisors, and other stakeholders to identify and resolve any scheduling conflicts or delays
  4. Provide regular progress reports and forecasts to keep the project team and key stakeholders informed
  5. Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure the successful completion of projects
  6. Assist in the preparation of bid proposals and tenders, including the development of project timelines and resource requirements
  7. Contribute to the continuous improvement of our planning and scheduling processes

What we're looking for

  1. Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
  2. Proficient in the use of project management software, such as Microsoft Project or Primavera
  3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex scheduling challenges
  4. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely
  5. Thorough understanding of construction processes, project management methodologies, and industry best practices
  6. Adaptable and able to work well in a team-oriented environment
