Be part of our client's team as a Finance Officer, where you'll ensure invoices, reimbursements, and payments are handled with accuracy and timeliness. You'll process financial transactions, maintain accurate records, and support reporting needs while collaborating with global stakeholders.

• Ability to work well under pressure and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines

• Experience in liaising with multiple internal and external stakeholders
• Excellent written communication with strong attention to detail in handling invoices
• Experience in managing and reconciling staff reimbursements

Education and Technical

• At least 2 years of experience in a finance role
• Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
• Preferred: Active participation in professional networks and industry events
• Preferred: Knowledge of G Suite and Apple systems
• Effective corporate communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and consistency in meeting deadlines

What You'll Be Responsible For

General

• Maintain accurate financial records for historical purposes
• Protect organizational value by keeping information confidential
• Review processes to ensure efficient and effective procedures are in place

Source to Pay

• Raise purchase orders in accordance with company policies and procedures
• Manage weekly payment cycles to ensure timely settlement of creditor invoices
• Process staff reimbursements accurately and on time
• Correspond with suppliers and respond to inquiries
• Track all payments, expenditures, purchase orders, and invoices to support cash flow management

Quote to Cash

• Invoice third parties as required
• Correspond with customers and respond to inquiries
• Reconcile collections against receivables

Accounting Operations

• Process invoices, expense claims, and credit card payments accurately and on time
• Flag and resolve invoices that do not comply with company or regulatory requirements
• Ensure cardholders code transactions in the expense management system and complete finance reviews of transactions
• Import transactions into the accounting system via journal entry
• Reconcile supplier statements and follow up on outstanding invoices
• Set up and maintain supplier master files in accordance with company policies
• Prepare Business Activity Statement (BAS)
• Assist in maintaining internal project registers and reporting on actual spend
• Assist in month-end closing and reporting, including preparation of accruals, department reports, and managing monthly review agendas
• Assist in audit requirements by collating source documents for testing
