About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled Software Engineer with expertise in Cloud and Data Engineering platforms, modern programming frameworks, and database technologies. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and optimize scalable applications and data solutions that support enterprise-level business requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain applications using Java (Spring Boot), JavaScript (React), and Python.
  • Build and optimize data pipelines and ETL processes using Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, Databricks, and Google Cloud services (DataFlow, Composer/DAGs).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement scalable cloud-native solutions.
  • Work with MongoDB and PostgreSQL to design, optimize, and manage databases for application and analytical workloads.
  • Ensure solutions follow best practices in security, performance, and reliability.
  • Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues across multiple environments.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement by evaluating and adopting new tools, frameworks, and practices.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • Proven experience in Cloud & Data Engineering platforms:
  • Microsoft Azure (Data Factory, Data Lake)
  • Databricks for big data processing
  • Google Cloud Platform (DataFlow, Composer/DAGs)
  • Strong programming experience with Java (Spring Boot), JavaScript (React), and Python.
  • Solid hands-on experience with MongoDB and PostgreSQL.
  • Knowledge of data integration, workflow orchestration, and distributed processing frameworks.
  • Strong problem-solving, debugging, and optimization skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
  • Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies and cloud security best practices.

Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term

Contract length: 18 months

Pay: Up to Php40,000.00 per month
