About the role:

Yondu Inc. is seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining complex software applications using Python and ReactJS. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Taguig City, Metro Manila.

What you'll be doing:

  1. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into robust, scalable, and efficient software solutions
  2. Design, develop, and deploy high-quality, maintainable code for web-based applications using Python and ReactJS
  3. Participate in the full software development life cycle, including requirements gathering, system design, implementation, testing, and deployment
  4. Continuously optimize and refactor existing codebase to improve performance, reliability, and maintainability
  5. Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior developers
  6. Contribute to the development and implementation of best practices, coding standards, and software engineering processes
  7. Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, technologies, and industry best practices in software engineering

What we're looking for:

  1. Minimum 5 years of experience as a Software Engineer, with a proven track record of delivering complex software projects
  2. Proficient in Python and ReactJS, with a strong understanding of their respective ecosystems and best practices
  3. Familiarity with modern software engineering practices, such as version control, agile methodologies, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD)
  4. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively
  5. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
  6. Experience in designing and implementing scalable, secure, and maintainable software architectures
  7. Familiarity with cloud-based infrastructure and deployment strategies is a plus
