Job Title: Junior Accountant

Work Setup & Schedule:

  • Hybrid; At least 3 days work onsite (8AM to 5PM)

What you'll be doing:

  • Prepare and issue Official Receipts and Invoices to clients for all services rendered by the company
  • Ensure that the inventory of invoices is accurately maintained and up to date for BIR compliance
  • Encode purchase transactions in BIR VAT relief system
  • Assist in the preparation of VAT Quarterly returns and Annual Alphalist
  • Record and update entries in the Looseleaf Sales Book, and General Journal
  • Perform vouching of documents to verify the existence and validity of transactions
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to request or provide feedback on reports and compliance matters
  • Actively participates in staff meetings and professional development activities
  • Assists in other tasks or projects as assigned

What will make you a great fit:

  • A CPA or Non-CPA; Graduate of any 4-year Business Course
  • Fresh Graduate or has at least one (1) year of work experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to work systematically and follow defined processes and procedures
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision with strict monthly reporting deadlines
  • Amenable to work on a hybrid setup in Makati (at least 3 days work onsite, 2 days work from home). Dayshift schedule from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm PH Time.
