Qualifications

  • College graduate of any 4-year course.
  • Preferably with 2 to 3 years of working experience in a related field, particularly with proven success in customer service within an airline or freight forwarding company.
  • Perform as a team player to support the team and ensure the quality of service is up to Group standards and requirements.
  • A strong understanding of the airline's cargo sales and candidates from an aviation/ logistics sales background will be an added advantage.
  • Fluency in English with excellent interpersonal skills, communication, and negotiation skills in client servicing and solutions

Job Description

Cargo Booking and Reservations:

  • Process cargo booking requests, ensuring accurate data entry and documentation.
  • Coordinate with clients to obtain necessary shipping documents and information.
  • Reserve cargo space on flights, considering factors like weight, volume, and destination.
  • Collaborate with sales to ensure correct rates will be inserted in the system.
  • Coordinates with HQ space control for space confirmation if needed.
  • Issue airway bills to agents.
  • Inform the agent regarding flight details including cut-off time (cargo and docs)

Shipment Tracking and Monitoring:

  • Track and monitor the progress of shipments from origin to destination.
  • Pre-alert message to be sent to transit hubs upon departure ex-MNL.
  • Resolve any issues or delays that may arise during transit.
  • Provide timely updates to clients on the status of their shipments.

Customer Service:

  • Provide excellent customer service by responding to inquiries, resolving issues, and maintaining positive relationships with clients.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, both verbally and in writing.
  • Update agents on the shipment status, handle irregularities such as delays, damage, missing cargo, and documents, and investigate to resolve issues.

Sales Support:

  • Provide assistance to sales team in the preparations and submission of reports
