About Us

Mechtric is an established Australian industrial and electrical distribution company.

We supply automation and electrical products nationwide and are refreshing our brand and marketing presence — from large technical catalogues to digital campaigns and product brochures.

We are looking for a senior designer with a clean, professional design aesthetic and proven B2B or industrial-sector experience. This is not an entry-level or consumer-brand role — we need someone who understands the tone, precision, and structure of technical B2B communication.

Your Role

You'll take ownership of all design work across the business, ensuring every piece of material — from our printed catalogue to online banners — reflects a consistent and premium standard.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and update product catalogues in Adobe InDesign (hundreds of pages).
  • Create marketing flyers, datasheets, brochures, and trade advertising.
  • Produce digital assets such as web banners, email graphics, and social media visuals.
  • Maintain and evolve our brand identity across all formats.
  • Turn technical information into clean, structured layouts that communicate clearly.
  • Work closely with the Marketing and Product teams via Microsoft Teams.

Requirements (Must-Have)

  • 5+ years professional graphic design experience.
  • Proven experience in B2B, technical, or industrial design (e.g., manufacturing, engineering, or electrical industries).
  • Strong portfolio showing clean, modern design — precise layout, balance, and typography.
  • Expert in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
  • Able to work independently, meet deadlines, and handle multi-project workflows.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Reliable internet connection and available for regular check-ins during Australian business hours.

Nice to Have

  • Experience designing technical catalogues, product sheets, or trade ads.
  • Familiarity with Canva, Figma, or video editing tools.
  • Knowledge of web banner and social ad formatting.
  • Previous experience working with Australian, UK, or US-based companies.
