JOB SUMMARY

The Quantity Surveyor/Cost Engineer is responsible for preparation of quantity takeoffs and cost estimates, monitoring of vertical and horizontal projects cost, and preparation of Weekly and Monthly Division Accomplishment Reports.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES

  1. Review and endorse estimates for approval as well as contribute inputs that will enhance the capability of the Cost Division.
  2. Conducts site inspection of various projects subject for repair and completion prior to preparing quantity take offs.
  3. Prepares quantity takeoffs, project cost estimates and schedule monitoring of all projects.
  4. Conduct cost validation of projects, actual versus estimate, and compile data to serve as reference.
  5. Monitor accomplishment reports of all vertical and horizontal projects submitted by the Project Engineers, and prepare/update ledger for accomplishment update of all projects.
  6. Regularly update land development accomplishment reports in AutoCAD drawings as another basis for monitoring.
  7. Coordinate with the Project Engineer for data needed for the project especially on revisions and as-built plans.
  8. Coordinate with survey and planning & design section regarding revision on actual project implementation.
  9. Prepare monthly departmental accomplishment reports for review.
  10. Perform other tasks as may be assigned by superior from time to time.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS

Education: Graduate of Civil Engineering

Experience: At least five (5) years of experience preferably in real estate industry

  • Good communication skills
  • Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office applications
  • Willing to be assigned in Lucena City, Quezon
