Job Summary:

The Room Attendant is responsible for maintaining cleanliness, orderliness, and the overall appearance of guest rooms and hotel areas. The role ensures that all rooms meet the hotel's cleanliness standards to provide guests with a comfortable and pleasant stay.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clean and tidy guest rooms, bathrooms, hallways, and other assigned areas.
  • Change bed linens, replace towels, and restock room supplies according to standards.
  • Inspect rooms for maintenance issues and report any damages or malfunctions to the supervisor.
  • Ensure all cleaning equipment and materials are used properly and safely.
  • Follow proper procedures for lost and found items.
  • Respond promptly to guest requests and maintain courteous and professional behavior.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of housekeeping carts, closets, and storage areas.
  • Adhere to hotel policies regarding health, safety, and hygiene standards.
  • Assist with laundry duties when necessary.
  • Support the housekeeping team in achieving daily productivity and quality goals.

Qualifications:

  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Previous housekeeping experience in a hotel or similar environment is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of cleaning techniques, tools, and materials.
  • Physically fit and able to perform repetitive tasks.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • Good communication and customer service skills.
  • At least 1 year experience on the field or in Hotel

Work Schedule:

  • Full-time position
  • Must be willing to work shifts, weekends, and holidays
