Job Responsibilities:

  • Coordination & Management of Air Import/Export Activities
    : Coordinate all aspects of air import/export processes, including obtaining quotes, managing bookings, handling documentation, data entry, shipment tracking, tracing, and billing.
  • Effective Communication
    : Maintain daily communication with airlines, vendors, truckers, customers, internal teams, and overseas offices to ensure seamless operations and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Operational Systems Management
    : Ensure timely and accurate filing of shipments in operational systems. Regularly update shipment milestones and statuses to ensure data integrity and enhance customer experience.
  • Customer Requirement Fulfillment
    : Ensure customer-specific needs are met by providing tailored solutions for transit times, carrier selection, and routing preferences.
  • Proactive Shipment Monitoring
    : Monitor shipments throughout the transportation process to identify and resolve any potential operational disruptions. Provide proactive updates to customers to ensure satisfaction.
  • Cross-departmental Collaboration
    : Work closely with team members, supervisors, and other departments to foster a collaborative and efficient work environment.

Qualifications:

  • Experience
    : Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in Air Freight Operations, logistics, or a related field with a strong understanding of air freight procedures and regulations.
  • Technical Proficiency
    : Skilled in using freight forwarding/logistics operational software and familiar with operational systems for data entry, shipment tracking, and reporting.
  • Organizational & Time Management Skills
    : Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, with a keen attention to detail and a focus on meeting deadlines.
  • Communication Skills
    : Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, capable of effectively interacting with a wide range of stakeholders (customers, vendors, internal teams, etc.).
  • Regulatory Knowledge
    : In-depth knowledge of both domestic and international air freight regulations, documentation requirements, and compliance standards.
  • Adaptability & Teamwork
    : Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining strong collaboration with team members and across departments.
  • Problem-Solving Skills
    : Proactive in identifying operational challenges and offering solutions to ensure the smooth flow of air freight activities.

Desirable Skills:

  • Knowledge of international trade regulations, air cargo security requirements, and industry best practices.
