This role involves providing paralegal and administrative support with a primary focus on property and conveyancing matters. You will assist the lead property lawyer with end-to-end conveyancing transactions, manage contract preparation and review, coordinate with clients, agents, and external parties, and handle document lodgement and settlement processes. The position also requires managing confidential client information and ensuring accuracy and timeliness in all documentation. Flexibility to assist with general administrative duties and support other legal teams as required is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Solid experience in end to end Australian conveyancing (Preferably Victoria)
  • Ability to assist the lawyer with court document preparation and basic contract drafting
  • Reception duties, including managing inbound client calls and enquiries
  • Strong customer service skills with a client-focused approach
  • Excellent spoken and written English
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook and calendar management
  • Experienced with LEAP and Smokeball (or similar)
  • Proactive, engaged, and detail-oriented
