The Business Development Officer is responsible for driving growth opportunities for EDL Farms' expansion into Retail (QSR) Quick Service Restaurant. The role involves identifying new markets, building partnerships, and developing strategies to strengthen the company's presence in the food and retail industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in QSR and retail.
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Conduct market research and analyze trends to support business strategies.
  • Develop proposals, negotiate contracts, and close business deals.
  • Collaborate with Sales & Marketing and Operations to ensure successful project execution.
  • Monitor business performance and prepare regular reports for management.
  • Represent the company in networking events, trade fairs, conventions, and industry activities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
  • Minimum of 2–3 years' experience in business development, sales, or marketing (preferably in food, retail, (FMCG) Fast Moving Consumer Goods, or QSR).
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Proven ability to generate leads and close deals.
  • Highly motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently.
  • Knowledge of the food service and retail industry is an advantage.
