About the role
We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Xero Accounting System Coordinator to join our dynamic team at Millennium Business Services, Inc. in Makati City, Metro Manila. As our Xero Accounting System Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and optimising our cloud-based accounting systems to support the financial operations of our diverse client base. This full-time position offers the opportunity to develop your skills in bookkeeping and small practice accounting within a collaborative and progressive work environment.
What you'll be doing
- Manage and maintain client accounts within the Xero accounting system, ensuring accurate and timely financial data entry and reconciliation
- Prepare and generate financial reports, statements, and other key documents for clients
- Liaise with clients to resolve accounting-related queries and provide exceptional customer service
- Assist with the implementation of Xero for new clients, including training and user onboarding
- Collaborate with the broader accounting team to identify and implement process improvements
- Maintain a thorough understanding of Xero functionalities and best practices
- Comply with relevant accounting regulations, standards, and internal policies
What we're looking for
- Minimum 3 years of experience in bookkeeping or small practice accounting, preferably using Xero
- Strong proficiency in the Xero accounting software and its various features and functionalities
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate financial records
- Effective communication skills to liaise with clients and internal stakeholders
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines and achieve goals
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
- Relevant educational qualifications in accounting, finance, or a related field
