About the role

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Xero Accounting System Coordinator to join our dynamic team at Millennium Business Services, Inc. in Makati City, Metro Manila. As our Xero Accounting System Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and optimising our cloud-based accounting systems to support the financial operations of our diverse client base. This full-time position offers the opportunity to develop your skills in bookkeeping and small practice accounting within a collaborative and progressive work environment.

What you'll be doing

  1. Manage and maintain client accounts within the Xero accounting system, ensuring accurate and timely financial data entry and reconciliation
  2. Prepare and generate financial reports, statements, and other key documents for clients
  3. Liaise with clients to resolve accounting-related queries and provide exceptional customer service
  4. Assist with the implementation of Xero for new clients, including training and user onboarding
  5. Collaborate with the broader accounting team to identify and implement process improvements
  6. Maintain a thorough understanding of Xero functionalities and best practices
  7. Comply with relevant accounting regulations, standards, and internal policies

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum 3 years of experience in bookkeeping or small practice accounting, preferably using Xero
  2. Strong proficiency in the Xero accounting software and its various features and functionalities
  3. Excellent attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate financial records
  4. Effective communication skills to liaise with clients and internal stakeholders
  5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines and achieve goals
  6. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
  7. Relevant educational qualifications in accounting, finance, or a related field
