Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and tech-savvy Xero Accounting Software Administrator to manage and maintain our Xero accounting platform. The successful candidate will be responsible for configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting Xero, ensuring seamless integration with other business systems, and supporting the finance team with training and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • System Administration:
  • Manage user access, permissions, and roles in Xero.
  • Set up and maintain chart of accounts, tracking categories, and other core configurations.
  • Monitor system integrations (e.g., payroll, POS, CRM, inventory systems).
  • Ensure data integrity and perform regular system audits.
  • Support & Troubleshooting:
  • Provide first-line support to users regarding Xero-related issues.
  • Liaise with Xero support or third-party vendors for issue resolution.
  • Troubleshoot bank feed connections, transaction matching, and reporting errors.
  • Training & Documentation:
  • Train new users and departments on Xero functionality and best practices.
  • Develop and maintain training materials and user guides.
  • Compliance & Reporting:
  • Assist with the preparation of financial reports and ensure accurate data entry.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Process Improvement:
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation within the accounting workflow.
  • Evaluate and implement new Xero add-ons or features to improve productivity.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Proven experience as a Xero Administrator, Finance Assistant, or similar role using Xero.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
  • Familiarity with third-party Xero integrations (e.g., payroll, inventory, expense tools).
  • Experience in user training and system documentation.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other office tools.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Xero Advisor Certification or other Xero-related certifications.
  • Experience working in [industry, e.g., retail, hospitality, nonprofit].
  • Knowledge of other cloud-based accounting systems or migration experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php50, Php70,000.00 per month
